Which browsers and file formats work with Euro-Office?
Browsers
Euro-Office works in every modern browser. Preferably use the latest version of one of these browsers:
- Google Chrome or Chromium
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari on the Mac
An older or less common browser may cause problems, such as a document that keeps loading. If this happens, update your browser first. On your phone or tablet, use the Nextcloud app. You can read more about this in Euro-Office in the Nextcloud app on your phone or tablet.
File formats
Euro-Office opens and saves the well known formats from Microsoft Office and OpenDocument. So you don't need to convert your files.

Euro-Office also opens older Office files (doc, xls and ppt). Afterwards, it's best to save your work as docx, xlsx or pptx.
Tip: are you collaborating with people who use Microsoft Office? Then save your files as docx, xlsx and pptx. They'll be able to open them without any problems.
