How do I copy a website to another domain within the same hosting package?

Do you have two domains in one hosting package and want to copy the website from one domain to the other? You can do this in DirectAdmin using File Manager.

1. Log in to DirectAdmin via My WebOké: go to My Products, choose your package, and click Go to DirectAdmin.
2. In the menu under System Info & Files, click File Manager.
3. Open the domains folder, then the folder of the domain with the website, and then public_html.
4. Select all files and folders using the checkbox at the top of the list.
5. Click Copy and choose the domains/otherdomain.com/public_html folder of the other domain as the destination. Empty that folder first if there's still an old site in it.

Please note: this only copies the files. If your website uses a database, such as WordPress, the copy will keep using that database and will still point to the old address. So copy a site like this using Clone in Installatron: this way, the copy gets its own database, and the addresses in it are updated.
